This painting has a prophetic Christian message. The angel is shown in a wedding dress with her hands in a praying position. The pastel pink of her gown shows compassion. The wings denote a heavenly being.
The idea behind this artwork is to represent members of the Christian church as the bride of Christ, as described in the bible. The prayer action shows communication with God. The open wings represent an open door to heaven.
Colours of gold, pink, blue and purple in the surrounding pattern indicate God's reward, loving nature and sovereignty.
