This oil painting of the Tithe Barn linked to the ruins of Basing House in Hampshire, England was created whilst I lived in the village of Old Basing. The structure of Basing House, associated with this Tithe Barn was destroyed during the time of Oliver Cromwell. These remaining buildings are of National importance and historical relevance.

From a very early age I have been fascinated by paintings and imagery that capture mood and emotion by good use of colour and the illusion of sparkle.
